DEBRIF | PRELIMINARY REGATTA SARDINIA

At the end of the Preliminary Regatta Sardinia of the 38th America’s Cup, held in Cagliari from May 21 to 24, 2026, Marco Mercuriali, Rules Advisor for Luna Rossa, and Paolo Martinoni, PR and Institutional Affairs, sit in the sailing loft to analyze the first official event of the campaign. From the response of the city of Cagliari, to the Youth & Women and Senior fleet races, to the final match race of the latter against Emirates Team New Zealand, the debrief revisits the key moments of the regatta. Finally, a look ahead to the next stop on the campaign: the second Preliminary Regatta, scheduled in Naples in September 2026.
