Born in Siena in 1995, Marco graduated from University of Siena with a Master’ss degree in Applied Mathematics and a thesis concerning deep learning approaches to structured data processing. Currently he is working for LRPP as Performance/Data analyst & AI development. Ex professional sailing athlete, he competed for Italy in two Olympic campaigns, achieving remarkable results. He’s always been passionate about science and, fascinated by the field, during his last year of studies he developed great interest towards Artificial Intelligence, publishing soon after his first paper on the subject as an autonomous researcher. While his sport career taught him discipline and hard work, his studies kept him creative and open minded. He is passionate about sports and in particular climbing. The one in 2024 will be his first America’s Cup.
