With a degree in Nautical Engineering from the University of Genoa, Enrico’s love for sports had him swimming and sailing since childhood, competing in the Optimist class and sailing on his family’s boat during summers. During his university years, what started as a leisure activity turned into a driving passion that brought him to dedicate his career to sports. He has participated in two Olympic campaigns in Star and Finn classes, in which he obtained important achievements: in Star (with Diego Negri) he won one European and two Italian championships; in the Finn class he won the Italian title in 2021. Enrico also races in the Maxi circuit and has won a world title. He joined Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in 2018 and was trimmer/grinder in the Auckland campaign. In this 2024 edition with the team he holds the double role of cyclor and AC40 boat captain. The Barcelona event will be his second America's Cup. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and biking.
