With a degree in Design, "Gigi" took up sailing at the age of 5 in the Optimist class. In 2017, after graduating from a science high school, he took the Olympic path in Nacra 17, where he achieved several successes paired with Maria Giubilei: two-time vice world champion (2021 and 2022), three-time U24 world champion (2018, 2019, and 2021), a silver and 2 bronze medals at the European Championships (2022 and 2023), and gold at the Paris 2024 Test Event. In 2024, he joined the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli youth team and as co-helmsman of the AC40 won the UniCredit Youth America's Cup in Barcelona. Gigi is very passionate about sports and everything related to design, but there is nothing at the moment he would like to do besides sailing. In 2024 he joins the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team and wins the the UniCredit Youth America's Cup in Barcelona as co-helmsman of the AC40.
