Born in Antigua with dual Italian and Antiguan-Barbudan citizenship, Rocco is an "all-around" sailor, with extensive experience on different types of racing boats, ranging from Optimist to Laser, via 29ers, Dragons, Big Boats, One Design Classes, and vintage and classic boats. He also has several offshore regattas and three Atlantic crossings to his name. After three years spent in Canada pursuing a university course in Economics, he returned to Europe and participated in various international regatta circuits, such as the Youth Foiling Gold Cup dedicated to 69Fs, where he achieved excellent results. In 2024 he joins the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli junior team in view of the Youth America's Cup in Barcelona. In his spare time he enjoys wing foiling, fishing and boating with friends and family.
