TEAM

A naturalized Spanish Italian (he has lived in Valencia for many years), Alfredo began his activity at North Sails in Carasco, specializing in the production of sails for racing boats. After making the lions for the spinnakers of Il Moro di Venezia (in '92 they were made of sailcloth applied and not painted), he took an active part in two America's Cup campaigns (Luna Rossa 2007 & Oracle BMW in 2010, where he was responsible for the sails of the US trimaran). His experience and reputation grew over the years through participation in major international circuits, such as TP52, RC44, Rolex Cup, Classic Boats Regatta, J70 Worlds, 12m America's Cup and Maxi Worlds. Among the boats he helped win are Bronenosec, Alpha, Península Petrolium and Cannonball 72. In Valencia he founded pro-AR-sails, specialized in adapting used racing sails to cruising boats. Alfredo, in addition, is a coach and athletic-sports trainer. The 2024 America's Cup will be his third, his second with Luna Rossa.
