Born in the UK in 1987 and grown up in Kefalonia (Greece), James holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Wales, Bangor. He started sailing at the age of 6 and has primarily sailed and raced offshore boats. He also has RYA Yachtmaster Ocean & Instructor certifications. He has been working in the marine electronics industry on high performance yachts for the past 5 years. The one in 2024 will be his first America’s Cup. In free time he loves to free dive and sail.
