An Englishman from Southampton, he lives in Tuscany and has participated in all the America's Cup challenges of the Luna Rossa team since 1997. He began his career at the Green Marine shipyard in Lymington, specializing in the high-tech construction of racing yachts and, in particular, maxi yachts. During this time, he was actively involved in the construction of some of the most prestigious and fastest yachts, including Giovanni Agnelli's Stealth and two boats for the Round the World Race. In 2010 he was part of the Alinghi team building the Alinghi 5 catamaran, while in 2017 he was part of the BAR team. The 2024 edition will be his 8^th AC, his 6^th with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli.
