Paride has 15 years of experience as a sailing instructor and FIV coach, specializing in recent years also in boat maintenance and refitting. He began sailing very young, at the age of six on Optimists and began racing at eight. Until he was twenty-one he participated in national and international regattas on dinghies and monotypes; later he began to work mainly in coaching and boat maintenance, continuing his training in Switzerland and Italy. As a coach he has achieved good results in the Laser class. That of 2024 will be his second America's Cup, again with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. His hobbies are surfing, kitesurfing, enduro, skiing and rugby.
