Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Martin studied Naval Engineering at the National Technological University, focusing on fluid mechanics, and worked as an assistant professor for several years. For the past three years he has been employed as a CFD specialist in the superyacht industry. He is a passionate sailor and has participated in many regattas in dinghies and keel boats. Sailing is what drives his curiosity to understand the flow and improve performance. This is his first America's Cup. When he has some free time, he loves to practice wing foil.
