Born in Florianopolis (Brazil) in 1994, with Italian-Brazilian citizenship, he holds a degree in naval engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology (USA) and a master's degree in Maritime Engineering - yacht and high-performance small craft - from the University of Southampton. He worked as a research assistant at the Davidson Laboratory. He wrote his master's thesis on hull optimization using genetic algorithms. The 2024 America's Cup will be his 2^nd AC, always with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. In his free he enjoys wing-foiling and padel.
