TEAM

With a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan, his hometown, Andrea began working as an interior designer, following several projects for renowned studios in the region’s capital. After a few years he moved to Cagliari, where he continued his activity as a freelancer. Passionate about sailing (he attended the schools of Caprera and Les Glénans) and a big fan of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, he participates in an "Open Day" organized by the team and later candidates himself for a role within the team. The opportunity arose in 2017, when Luna Rossa reassembled in Cagliari and was looking for a logistics base supervisor. Andrea jumped at the opportunity and quickly became base operations manager, following the team to Auckland for the 2021 America’s Cup. Thanks to his experience in the field of architecture, he also supervises the infrastructures and hospitality setups during the events. In his spare time he enjoys walking, playing tennis and padel, skiing, and mountain biking.
