Giovanni Tognozzi

From Castiglione della Pescaia (Italy), he has been with team Luna Rossa ever since its first America’s Cup challenge in 2000, taking part in all the campaigns. In 2010 he was boat captain of TP52 Luna Rossa, and in 2011 he was shore team manager for the Extreme 40 catamaran with which Luna Rossa won the Extreme Sailing Series. Since 2016 he has been attending the Classic Boats international circuit and has been taking part in several off-shore races.
This is his sixth America’s Cup campaign.
