Andrea Canciani

Andrea graduated in 2010 with an MSc-Eng in Mechanical Engineering at Università degli Studi di Udine (Italy). Andrea is specialized in the field of advanced composite materials design and structural calculation. He joined the yacht-racing world by working at Juan Yacht Design, involved in the design of the off-shore racing yachts Volvo70 Groupama Team, Puma Racing and Team Telefonica for the 2011/2012 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race. Since 2013 he collaborated with several companies and designers in the boat building field as freelance engineer.  This is his second America’s Cup, the first with Luna Rossa.
